bit.ly (http://bit.ly) is a website tool to shorten, share, and tracks your links. It makes links sharing easier because of long links became shorter and reduce mistyping. It also help the link sharer to tracks how many their link clicked, and even they will know where did the clicker located in the world.
I’ve seen bit.ly (http://bit.ly) links so many times when I’m browsing the web. come of them reffer to a good website and infos, but some links to a bad sites such as virus, advertising program, or even disturbing pict and scary sounds.
We can see the real bit.ly links by doing these 2 easy steps:
1. I’ll give you example with CNN’s twitter update links.
as we can see there is a bit.ly link, http://bit.ly/7DPgBT, from the latest CNN update.
2. do right click on the links and choose “copy link”, then paste it in a new tab of your browser, and add /info between bit.ly and the code after /, like the picture below.
and your browser will go into bit.ly page that shows the status about the link, and we can see that the link http://bit.ly/7DPgBT refers to http://edition.cnn.com/2009/BUSINESS/12/16/british.airways.finance.future/index.html, and we can choose to open or not to open it, based on the domain which is the real link located.
PS : you can do this when you receive bit.ly links from someone you dont really know or trusted. if you receive bit.ly links from a trusted sites like CNN twitter update, you dont need to do this.

If you get your articles from free articles website, it may be difficult to you to find good articles for your website. But you can edit the articles with search engine optimization mode. Some webmaster use articles from free directories to make website. This is important to they who just started working in this kind of thing and they who do not yet have any funds to recruit writers.
Even this is sometimes the only options for those who doesn’t have budget yet, it is not a way to build your website effectively. There are few reasons why I said like that.

If you think that getting high ranks in search engines ranking is hard work, this is only the half of the big work. You must also make your visitor convinced to clicks on your advertisements. If your articles seems to be like the other site, they will least likely to click on your advertisements.

But most people should not expect this kind of success, especially if you are new. because that kind of success needs experience and skills. After you worked for months and gains traffic and set up nice advertisements, may be you can get around $500 a month.
Soon after you have successfull site, most people choose to build niche sites. The more sites you have, better income you can get. When you start, remember that your first site will be the hardest one, because you are just learning about it. but when you already make 2 or 3 of them, it will not as hard as the first one.
Never give up. your first site may take long time, but if you give up too early, you will never know what will you get. And maybe you are the next great website marketer!

Keyword is an important part of optimizing your articles for search engines, or Search Engine Optimization. Search engine bots or spiders scan a web page and they recognize a page by it keywords. So if you put your keyword correctly, your article will show up when someone search for that keyword in the search engines.
A keyword is a word or a phrase that is placed in your articles several times, not just once, because that would make every word as a keyword. So if search engine spiders sees that you have some words placed several time in a webpage, it will recognize that word as a keyword and will determine your web page will be useful to users that searching for that word.
But dont over do it. If you over optimizing your articles with particular words, it known as “keyword stuffing”. When you do that spider will detect that your article is a tricky article which want to be placed high in the search engine results for that keyword, and the spider will penalize your page. It event may affect your overall pages ranking, and would be blacklisted from a particular search engine if you do keyword stuffing to many times.
Most people use a percentage to determine how many time they will have the keyword in their articles. For example if you have a 400 words article and want to make it 5%, then you can write your keyword 20 times. you can choose how often you use your keyword, because each webmaster has their own style, and based on past results.as long as you dont over optimized and you make enough profit for your ranking, then you can choose how often your keyword will be.
Having the right keyword percentation will make money from your article because it will rise in the search engine results and you will get many readers from it.
