In online business, it is also important to do offline advertising, especially if our target is the nearby market, and we are quite active to go around and go to seminar or such.
Kind of offline advertising that you could do is:
- When you are in the seminar and it’s discussion session, just try to find any question, raise your hand, and say “Good evening, I’m from www.luteviant.com, I want to ask ……..” It will make some people in the place curious about your website, especially when you have good domain.
- Make clothes with your logo / domain stenciled in it. and use it when you are walking around the mall, or make a jacket and use it when you are walking around the road.
- Make sticker and put it in your laptop and car.
- Go to the mall with your friends, act like you are lost, and your friend can call you in the information center : “Attention to Mr ******* from www.luteviant.com, Mr ******* from www.luteviant.com, your friend is waiting for you in the information center” (sounds crazy but all people inside the mall will hear you and your website!)
That are how to do offline advertising, if you do it regularly you will make people around you interested in accessing your domain, and that could give you traffic.
Where Should I Put All The Image?

Images is very important in making website. with image you can tell everyone more detail about what you are writing. Like some people said that an image contains thousands of words. But if you are going to make a website contains of images, the main problem is where to put all your images, because images takes more space than an essay (we are talking about people who host their website on a hosting company, not for them who had their own server in their room). A good quality photo sometimes can take more than 500 Kilobytes, and a 1000-words essay will not bigger than 100 Kilobytes in size.
There are 2 options where to put your images. The first one is to host your images in your server, and the second is to put them in an image sharing sites.
Hosting images in your server
pros:
1. you can manage your image easily because its your server, and you have full access for it.
2. your images will have the same uptime with your website, better than when your website up but your images can’t be seen because the image’s server is down.
3. You will not lost your images, if you host it in an image-sharing sites, it might be lost because they host so many images.
Cons
1. You will get your file for backup become bigger, because everytime you backup your site, you must download all the images.
2. You have to rent a bigger space of hosting, or your images can’t be host there.
Put them in an image-sharing website
pros
1. You will not lose any server space for images because your images hosted in the other server.
2. Some image-sharing websites have a good bandwith so your visitors can load your images fastly.
cons
1. Sometimes you didn’t get full control for it, like rename, move, etc.
2. If there’s a problem with your image-sharing website, so you must replace the code for your image one by one, from the first post of your website.
So by the pros and cons of each options, you can choose whether to host your images in your server or put them in an image-sharing website.

If you’re running out of idea to write on your website, the first thing to do is write whatever you are thinking right now. Because if you don’t update your website for a long time, your visitors that checks your website regularly will think that your website is not active, and even won’t visit your website again. You can go to the nearest cinema and watch movie, and write the review about it in your blog.
